Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager for the Framework Foundations (FF) team to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects within Android. You\'ll collaborate with product management and engineering to plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate with cross-functional partners, including executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in program management.
• 5 years of experience directing multidisciplinary engineering portfolios in operating systems, mobile platforms, or systems infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Drive measurable program performance gains correlated to execution velocity.
• Be a change advocate responsible for initiating and leading multiple organizations through pivots needed to address shifts in business trends and priorities.
• Lead strategic planning framework for a complex program portfolio including direct influence over resourcing decisions, planning cadence, and planning stakeholders.
• Act as an executive leader within the Android Technical Program Manager (TPM) organization: mentor, coach, and elevate the technical capabilities of L4–L6 TPMs and cross-functional teammates.
• Partner closely with the release team to drive features into the yearly/quarterly release cycle.
