Job summary

Google is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager for the Android Core OS team in Mountain View, CA. You will lead complex, multi-disciplinary programs across Android framework Foundations, collaborating with Pixel, Search, OEM partners, and other stakeholders to influence roadmaps and device performance.

You will drive requirements, timelines, and risk management while communicating tradeoffs to executives and engineers. Strong leadership and system-level thinking are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in program management.
• 5 years directing multidisciplinary engineering portfolios in operating systems, mobile platforms, or systems infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Drive measurable program performance within the Android Core OS ecosystem.
• Coordinate with product management and engineering teams across Android and partner groups.
• Influence executive leadership to align on technical directions and trade-offs.
• Mentor and elevate TPMs and cross-functional teammates within the organization.
• Partner with release teams to align features with yearly/quarterly release cycles.
