Job summary

Komatsu America Corp. Shawano, Wisconsin is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support day-to-day parts warehouse operations. You will pick, pack, and prepare products for shipping or storage, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Responsibilities include tracking shipments, moving inventory, loading/unloading freight, and assisting with audits and cycle counts. A forklift certification and ability to lift 50 lbs are required, with a 90-day certification window.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 6 months logistics, inventory, or customer service experience.
• Forklift certification within 90 days of start date.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Familiarity with Teams, Outlook and Syteline.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with team on shipment and receipt of products.
• Tracks and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Move inventory between locations using scanning tools.
• Pull and pack items for client orders.
• Prepare orders and packages for shipping to clients.
• Support other warehouse tasks during downtime.
• Assist with audits, inventory, and cycle counts.
• Accept and unload deliveries daily.
• Load/unload freight with pallet jack or forklift.
• Break down pallets and dispose waste materials.
• Keep storeroom stocked with inventory.
• Offload inbound material and verify against PO.
• Check incoming vendor material per PO and specs.

Job Overview

Employee plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of parts warehouse and the shipping-receiving docks. Their primary responsibility is to pick, pack, and prepare products for shipping or storage. This role ensures that orders are fulfilled accurately, efficiently, and on time.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Collaborates and communicates with team members in the shipment and receipt of products.
• Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Perform immediate material moves by scanning inventory from old locations to new locations.
• Pick and Pack items needed from requested orders for clients
• Prepare orders and packages needed for shipping out to clients
• During downtime help with other warehouse work
• Assist with audits/ inventory / cycle counts
• Accept and perform deliveries as needed daily
• Load and unload freight using manual pallet jack or fork lift
• Break down pallets / take out cardboard and wrapping material to trash bins
• Ensure storeroom is stocked with inventory
• Offloads inbound material
• Check incoming vendor material based on purchase order descriptions and other applicable specifications

Qualifications/Requirements

• Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock
• Receiving, stocking, and stacking experience
• Pulling, packing, and loading experience
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong sense of time organization and urgency
• Able to work independently and within a team
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 6 months logistics, inventory processes, and customer service experience
• Forklift Certification within 90 days of job entry date
• Familiarity with Teams, Outlook, Scanning, and Syteline
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
