Job summary

Coaction Global, Inc. in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Manager of Workers' Compensation Claims to oversee two TPAs and drive effective claims management. The role requires leadership, analytical skills, and collaboration with underwriting, legal, and senior management.

This is a hybrid position based in Morristown with travel as needed. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in WC claims handling across multiple jurisdictions, 2+ years in claims management, and relevant designations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of workers' compensation claims handling in multiple jurisdictions.
• 2+ years of claims management experience, preferably with TPA oversight.
• Experience with WC claims in CA, FL, NY.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Insurance designations such as AIC-M, ARM, SCLA, or CPCU are a plus.
• Willingness to travel for mediations, settlement conferences, and trials.

Responsibilities

• Oversee TPAs to ensure claims handling adheres to established protocols and guidelines.
• Provide guidance on complex investigations, coverage assessments, and claim resolution processes.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of TPA performance against SLAs and industry practices.
• Ensure TPAs’ claims handlers are appropriately licensed and skilled.
• Coordinate with brokers, insureds, and internal stakeholders to communicate claim status.
