Job summary

Swickard Toyota of Edmonds is seeking an experienced flat-rate technician to diagnose and repair Toyota vehicles across a full range of systems. You will perform multi-point inspections, develop repair plans, and document all work with precision in a high-volume shop.

Toyota experience is preferred, but strong technicians from other imports or domestic brands are welcome; ASE certifications are a plus. Enjoy a modern facility with supportive management and competitive certification-driven pay.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of flat-rate technician experience in a franchised dealership
• Toyota brand experience preferred; strong candidates from other import/ domestic brands encouraged
• Strong diagnostic foundation; able to work through multi-system problems
• Toyota Techstream or equivalent diagnostic platform experience preferred
• ASE certifications a strong plus; Toyota factory certifications valued
• Low comeback rate and a quality standard that doesn't require managing
• Physically capable of performing the demands of the role throughout the shift
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Toyota vehicles across engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, suspension, HVAC, and more using Toyota diagnostic platforms and OEM procedures
• Perform multi-point inspections and develop accurate repair plans; communicate findings to service advisors for guest authorization
• Execute repairs to Toyota factory specs with speed, accuracy, and no shortcuts
• Complete repair orders accurately; document work performed and parts used with precision
• Stay current on Toyota technical service bulletins, software updates, and manufacturer procedures
• Perform test drives to validate conclusions and confirm repair quality before vehicle return
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation each shift
• Contribute to a shop culture of quality, accountability, and craftsmanship
