Job summary

Lithia Toyota of Klamath Falls is seeking a Toyota Certified Technician. You will diagnose, maintain and repair vehicles, perform road tests, document outcomes, and pursue required manufacturer certifications.

We offer a flat rate pay scale with pay depending on experience, plus benefits; relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicants. Schedule: Monday - Friday in a busy service department.

Qualifications

• Prior Toyota experience required.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and computing skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Road test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer certifications by completing the necessary and required training.
• Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner.
• Maintain an inventory of normal mechanic tools and ensure availability of required tools.

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of normal mechanics tools to include screwdrivers, wrenches, socket wrenches, pliers, hammers, chisels and punches, and other tools needed to perform the work for which the technician is trained and not normally inventoried by the service department as "special tools".
