Job summary

Norm Reeves Toyota in Dallas is seeking a Parts Back Counter Associate to support technicians by locating and issuing Toyota Genuine Parts and accessories in a fast-paced shop. You’ll communicate with service teams to prioritize repairs and ensure minimal downtime, using dealership systems to verify pricing and availability.

The role leverages prior automotive parts experience, with training available for strong mechanical aptitude and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive parts experience is preferred.
• Toyota dealership experience is highly desirable but not required.
• Willing to train candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of automotive components and vehicle systems is preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn dealership software.

Responsibilities

• Identify, locate, and issue the correct Toyota Genuine Parts and accessories for technicians.
• Maintain communication with technicians and service advisors to prioritize orders and minimize downtime.
• Research and source parts using electronic catalogs and dealership systems.
• Verify pricing, availability, supersessions, and backordered parts.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, organizing, and replenishing inventory.
• Process warranty parts, core returns, and manufacturer returns per guidelines.
• Participate in cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized parts storage area.
• Collaborate with Front Counter, Warehouse, and Service teams for smooth operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
