Job summary

Toyota West Mobile in Alabama is hiring a Parts Counterperson to be the primary contact between the parts department and all internal departments and/or customers, retail customers and wholesale customers.

You will receive orders for parts, promote related parts and accessories, manage inventory, assist customers with back-ordered parts, and keep the work area clean while abiding by company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Familiar with DRP guidelines and Parts Trader
• Automotive parts experience is a plus but not required
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Computer competency and basic math skills
• Organizational and time management skills
• Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Receive and process orders for parts
• Promote additional sales of related parts and/or accessories
• Inventory control and maintain shelf stock
• Assist customers (internal, retail and wholesale) with concerns and updates on back ordered parts
• Keep work area and storage area clean and neat
• Comply with all company policies, procedures and safety standards
• Other duties as assigned
