Job summary

Labcorp in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Lab Technician to receive specimens, evaluate orders and ensure timely reporting. You’ll work with automated extractors, immunoassay analyzers, LCMS instruments and cloud-based data review while following SOPs and QC practices.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a chemical or biological science; ASCP or AMT certification is preferred. New grads are welcome with full training; some overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive specimens for testing and prioritize work to maintain turnaround times.
• Operate and troubleshoot Hamilton/Nimbus and other analyzers.
• Adhere to SOPs and maintain quality control logs.
• Calibrate, maintain, and clean instrumentation per schedule.
• Document results and communicate findings to clients and staff.
