Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in RTP, NC is seeking a Technologist Trainee to perform specimen evaluation, routine and complex testing, and maintain quality control under SOPs. You will troubleshoot instrumentation, prepare reagents, and report accurate results while supporting a safe, compliant laboratory.

The role offers full-time night shifts (Tue–Sat, 9:00pm–5:30am) with training provided and opportunities to develop foundational lab skills in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.
• 3+ months of clinical lab experience preferred.
• ASCP or AMT certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Specimen processing and reporting accurate results.
• Maintaining quality control and safety protocols.
• Troubleshooting instrumentation and assisting with SOPs.
