Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Certifying Scientist to join our team in RTP, NC. The role involves reviewing toxicology test results, certifying releases, and maintaining strict quality standards in a fast-paced laboratory.

You will also support training, assist with audits, and interact with clients as needed. A relevant science degree and 2+ years of lab experience are required, with flexibility for overtime shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology (2+ years lab experience).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a high-volume environment.
• Proficient with computers and laboratory information systems.

Responsibilities

• Review test results for screening and confirmatory toxicology testing.
• Certify and release results meeting quality standards.
• Support training of other staff and assist inspectors during audits.
