Overview

• The practice represents manufacturers, distributors, contractors, and other corporate defendants in complex silicosis and toxic tort litigation.
• Attorneys in this practice play a key role in all phases of case management, from fact investigation and discovery through motion practice, expert development, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
• Core responsibilities include conducting legal research; drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery; taking and defending depositions of fact witnesses, plaintiffs, and experts; developing case strategy in collaboration with partners and clients; preparing for and attending hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials; working closely with expert witnesses and consultants on medical and scientific issues; and maintaining strong client relationships.
• The role requires meaningful experience in complex litigation matters, including products liability, and preparedness to draft and argue discovery and other motions, take and defend depositions, and manage document productions.
