Murphy Tower Service LLC in Springfield, MO, is seeking a Telecommunications Tower Technician to join our team. Travel will be 50–75% with a schedule typically Monday–Friday. Per diem is paid for travel days, lodging is covered, and a company vehicle with fuel is provided.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of telecommunications tower experience.
• Able to climb towers and work at heights in various weather conditions.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for RF, fiber, and electrical systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Basic computer and mobile app skills for ticketing and testing.
• Ability to manage time and work independently.
• OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR; RF awareness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair telecom towers, antennas, radios, and coax.
• Respond to service tickets according to customer specifications and deadlines.
• Identify site access, permits, or equipment needs and coordinate with supervision.
• Ensure tools, test gear, and materials are available before mobilizing.
• Document work with photos, test results, and service logs.
• Adhere to safety standards and participate in safety audits.
