Industrial Communications West in Grand Island, NE is seeking a Tower Construction professional for regular full-time work installing, inspecting, and maintaining wireless radio and antenna systems on towers and rooftops. Crew-based work with training opportunities and a sign-on bonus for experienced technicians.

The role requires climb certification, ability to travel, and strong safety awareness; you’ll work outdoors in all weather, operate tools, and ensure documentation and site readiness.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of wireless telecom construction experience preferred.
• Must be willing to reside within a daily commutable distance from the crew base.
• Basic knowledge of knots and tower rigging.
• Must have or obtain and maintain Authorized Climber & Competent Climber/Rescue certification from an accredited institution.
• Ability to pull your own body weight, plus equipment weight, up vertical towers up to 500 feet for extended periods of time.
• Preferred: OSHA 10, OSHA 30, First Aid and CPR.
• Ability to travel away from home up to 75% of the time including weekends.
• Must have a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass pre-employment checks, which include a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and substance screening, following federal law.

Responsabilidades

• Install, inspect, and maintain services for wireless radio and antenna systems on towers, rooftops, and other elevated structures.
• Mount antennas, panels and microwave dishes, run coax, apply connectors, sweep fiber runs and test coax lines.
• Install tower equipment including masts, clamping, bracing, support, antennas, remote radio units, cabling, and bolting.
• Complete antenna installation of RF and microwave parabolic dishes from 1 ft to 10 ft in size.
• Troubleshoot RF and microwave systems.
• Assemble monopoles, self-supports, and guyed towers.
• Install power trunk lines.
• Load, transport, and unload tools, materials, and equipment safely.
• Support site cleanup and upkeep.
• Ability to manage crew members when required.
• Complete company required documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
