Job summary

Thayer-Power-and-Communication-Line-Constructio, a Marlborough, MA based wireless construction company, is seeking self-motivated candidates to join our crews installing, repairing and maintaining cell tower equipment. Openings exist at all experience levels; work involves climbing monopoles, water tanks, towers and rooftops up to 200 ft and using power tools.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Must obtain MA DOT Medical Card.
• Must lift at least 50 lbs.
• Must be able to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.
• Must work at heights up to 200 feet.
• OSHA10 or 30 certification; cost reimbursed.
• RF Safety Awareness Training, HazCom, Bloodborne Pathogens training; cost paid by company.
• Com-Train or equivalent certification is a plus (will train).

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain wireless radio and antenna systems on towers and rooftops.
• Perform ground-based civil scopes in support of cabling, grounding, interconnects.
• Complete work on time, efficiently and profitably.
• Adhere to safety and quality requirements.
• Identify materials and tools needed.
• Maintain equipment and vehicles.
• Communicate with Crew Foreman, Crew Lead, and other Crew members.
• Dedication to continued training and professional development.
