Job summary

Thayer Power & Communication Line Construction Co., LLC, based in Michigan, seeks Tower Technicians to work with our wireless crews. You will be responsible for safe, productive climbs, antenna and equipment installations, and mentoring junior crew members.

Candidates should have 2+ years tower climbing experience, ability to travel, and a high school diploma. The role requires adherence to safety policies, readiness for extended hours, and commitment to quality work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of tower climber experience.
• Experience reading blueprints and site plans.
• Pre-employment drug screening required.
• Ability to travel and work at height up to 300 ft.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Thayer Safety Policies and practices.
• Safely complete modifications and installations at elevated heights.
• Assist with tower construction and antenna installation.
• Read customer blueprints and execute scope of work per specifications.
• Mentor and train other crew members.
• Maintain clean, organized work sites and document activities.
