MasTec Communications Group is seeking a Tower Technician II to install, maintain, and operate telecom equipment on towers and elevated structures. You will climb towers, assist in erecting towers, and ensure safety policies are followed.

Qualifications

• You must have a High School Degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of tower experience.
• PWSA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and operate wired, wireless, fiber optic, and microwave telecom equipment.
• Climb towers and ladders at various heights to install and service equipment.
• Assist in tower erection using helicopters, cranes, and gin poles.
• Prepare and clean sites and offload material and inventory.
• Mentor new technicians and support team on safety and procedures.
