Job summary

5 Star Electric, LLC (5 Star) is an entry-level Level I Technician, Tower role, stationed on-site in Lexington, KY. The position focuses on learning to safely climb wireless structures under supervision, with emphasis on safety and basic tower maintenance.

The role requires OSHA 10 certification, plus potential First Aid/CPR certification, and at least 1 year of construction or wireless experience. Candidates must pass background checks and drug screening as part of employment.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10 Certification is required.
• First Aid/CPR Certification is preferred.
• One (1+) years of experience in a construction or wireless industry.

Responsibilities

• Install microwave dishes, antennas, RRUs and other wireless equipment on the tower.
• Climbing and working on communications towers to install, replace, and repair antenna systems equipment.
• Perform tower maintenance under close supervision and use hand tools and mechanical equipment.
• Know hazards associated with tower climbing and energized lines and equipment.
• Climb tall structures (100 feet or more) with 50 lb. load.
• Follow safety guidelines and anticipate appropriate actions.
