Job summary

Pearce is seeking a Generator Technician to service and repair commercial generators on cell towers across the region. You’ll be a self-starter who is willing to travel and capable of working independently in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of generator maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of generator installations and repair of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components.
• Basic knowledge of FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, repair generators; install/replace components and upgrade equipment.
• Run performance checks and routine maintenance; read blueprints for installation or repair.
• Install fuel/water lines, pumps, wiring, and controls; test for proper operation.
• Respond to generator alarms; on-call 24/7 as needed; handle calls and emails promptly.
• Work safely around power equipment; use safety gear and attend safety meetings.
