STG Communications is seeking a Foreman Tower Technician to lead and manage field crews on telecom tower projects. You will drive safety, ensure quality, and coordinate with customers, management, and technicians to meet on-time, within-scope objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven telecom construction experience with AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile line and antenna site work.
• Ability to lead, mentor, supervise, and train crew team members.
• Must have a valid driver's license and qualified to drive DOT vehicles.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications systems and tower infrastructure.
• Must have intermediate computer literacy skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Can lift up to 100 pounds.
• Work in all weather elements.
• Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
• Ability to work weekends as needed.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Plan and assign daily work tasks with proper resources and clear crew communication.
• Lead job site safety efforts, including daily tailgates, JSAs, and hazard mitigation.
• Oversee top-side and ground-level scope execution, following drawings and specs.
• Communicate expectations to Top Hands and Technicians for documentation and deliverables.
• Manage site documentation: daily reports, time sheets, and closeout packages.
• Train and evaluate crew members to support technical development and growth.
• Act as the primary on-site contact for customers, management, and safety personnel.
• Conduct morning safety meetings and assign tasks by scope, priority, and strengths.
• Review build plans and set job-specific expectations for crews.
• Ensure site safety standards are followed; correct issues as needed.
• Monitor progress, troubleshoot, and assist on tower or ground tasks as needed.
• Communicate with project managers about schedule, material needs, scope changes.
• Submit daily logs and verify documentation; ensure closeouts meet standards.
• Promote a clean, organized work environment on site, in vehicles, and storage.
