Job summary

Wi-Fiber, Inc. is seeking an Installation, Repair, and Tower Technician to install, repair, and troubleshoot fixed wireless, Wi‑Fi, and fiber‑optic equipment at customer sites and tower locations across the Arizona service area.

The role involves outdoor work from ladders, rooftops, poles, and aerial lifts, with responsibilities for documentation and communicating service conditions. The position requires travel, on‑call rotations, and completion of safety training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or practical experience.
• Valid driver license with acceptable driving record; CDL may be required within six months.
• Ability to complete tower climbing, fall-protection, aerial-lift, equipment operation, and safety training.
• Basic knowledge of computers, networks, RF concepts; willingness to learn more.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer and network sites to install, repair, and troubleshoot fixed wireless, Wi-Fi, fiber‑optic and related equipment.
• Mount and align antennas; run, terminate, and secure cable; verify signal quality and service performance.
• Configure routers, switches, radios, UPS units, and remote-management tools with engineers.
• Diagnose RF, cabling, power, and IP network issues; restore service or escalate complex conditions.
• Install and maintain equipment on rooftops, poles, towers, cabinets, and other elevated structures.
• Operate ladders, tools, aerial bucket trucks, lifts, and related equipment when trained.
• Complete work orders, document locations, frequencies, test results, and customer concerns.
