Job summary

ANCO Wireless is seeking an experienced Tower Crew Foreman to lead utility construction crews in installing, maintaining, and repairing towers and related infrastructure. You will supervise daily operations, enforce safety, and ensure projects meet deadlines with high-quality workmanship.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in tower or utility construction with supervisory experience and a strong grasp of safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in tower or utility construction with supervisory experience
• Strong understanding of tower safety, rigging, and industry practices
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs
• Proven leadership and team management abilities
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of tower crews and assign tasks
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of towers and related equipment

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subs to meet timelines

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Tower Crew Foreman to lead utility construction crews in the installation, maintenance, and repair of tower and related infrastructure. This role is responsible for supervising daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and meeting project deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and direct daily activities of tower construction crews, including assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of utility structures, towers, and related equipment.
• Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with OSHA, company, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including job reports, safety logs, and material usage.
• Train and mentor crew members, fostering skill development and career growth.
• Troubleshoot on-site challenges and provide effective solutions to keep projects on track.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of tower construction or utility construction experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or foreman role.
• Strong understanding of tower safety, rigging techniques, and industry best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred but not required.
• Must be able to relocate to Rapid City, SD prior to start date.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to climb and work at heights exceeding 200 feet.
• Capacity to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and travel as needed.
