Job summary

Cox Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a tow truck operator to provide towing and vehicle handling services on the MAA parking lot and surrounding areas.

The role involves operating a tow truck and a front-end loader, loading/unloading vehicles for auction, and ensuring safe, damage-free handling. Responsibilities include securing vehicles, moving them to designated areas, performing routine maintenance, and assisting with battery jumps, unlocks, and Lot Vision tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3–7 years related work experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• 1–3 years of experience driving a service/tow truck or front-end loader.
• Pre-hire Physical for DOT medical card.
• DOT Driver Qualification file completion.
• 5 Panel drug test may be required.
• Adhere to Vehicle Use Policy.

Responsibilities

• Operates a tow truck to provide tow service at the MAA parking lot and other locations.
• Operates a front-end loader for loading/unloading and moving vehicles for auction.
• Securely attaches tow equipment and ensures no damage to vehicles.
• Hauls vehicles to designated areas in a safe manner.
• Scans towed vehicles using the TC75 to delivery locations.
• Assists with towing, jump-starting batteries, and door unlocking as needed.
• Assists with Lot Vision and vehicle location tasks.
• Tows vehicles to the Mechanic shop when required.
• Performs routine maintenance on tow truck and loader.
• Complies with safety regulations and participates in safety activities.
• Runs reports to move vehicles into sale TRA area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
