Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking an on-site technician to operate tow trucks and a front-end loader, moving vehicles around the auction lot and assisting with customer pickups. The role requires ensuring safety, proper vehicle handling, and timely communication with Lot Operations leadership.

Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance checks, documenting towed vehicles, and supporting sale day activities. A valid license and several years of related experience are preferred.

Competenze

• High School Diploma/GED and 5 years' related experience; or alternative combinations with 3 years' experience plus higher degree; or 7 years' related experience.
• Valid driver's license required.

Mansioni

• Operate tow trucks and equipment to move trailers, heavy trucks, RVs, and boats around the lot.
• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles per safety guidelines.
• Respond to requests for vehicle recovery, removals, or repositioning promptly.
• Support lot organization by staging vehicles for sale, transport, inspection, or pickup.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
