Job summary

Cox Enterprises is seeking a Tow Truck Operator to move and recover vehicles on the auction lot and adjacent locations. You will operate tow equipment, assist with loading/unloading, and ensure safety procedures are followed throughout the shift.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, logs, and collaborating with Lot Operations and leadership to prioritize tasks. The role requires physical stamina and consistent, safe driving under varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required. Experience in towing/vehicle movement is preferred.
• DOT medical card and Driver Qualification file completion is expected.
• CDL is preferred but not required depending on candidate and combination of experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate tow truck and front-end loader to move vehicles on the auction lot.
• Safely load, transport, and unload vehicles per safety guidelines.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and report safety issues.
