Job summary

Cox Automotive in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Tow Truck Operator to move vehicles on the auction lot, operate tow trucks and loaders, and ensure safe, immobile parking. You will conduct inspections, log movements, and assist with customer pickup as needed.

You must have a valid driver’s license; DOT card is preferred. The role requires teamwork with Lot Operations and may involve overtime during auctions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to obtain DOT medical card after hire.

Responsibilities

• Tow and move vehicles on the auction lot and in various locations.
• Inspect vehicles pre- and post-trip and report issues.
• Maintain logs of towed/moved vehicles and meet safety rules.
• Assist with loading/unloading and general lot operations.
