Job summary

RB Global Inc. is seeking tow truck drivers to provide best-in-class towing service for inbound/outbound light-duty vehicles including motorcycles and travel trailers. The role requires following due dates, updating customers and dispatchers, and handling all paperwork and imaging as needed.

This full-time position includes 12-14 hour shifts, weekends and holidays. A valid Class D license with a clean driving record and strong communication are required; you will inspect, tow safely, and

• Possess a valid Class D Drivers License with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to work 12-14hr shifts including weekend and holidays.
• Dispatch experience.
• Outdoors year-round.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tow trucks and tow light duty vehicles without damage.
• Perform pre and post trip inspections to ensure towed vehicles are not damaged.
• Safely tow customer vehicles and complete paperwork as required.
• Perform truck inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Collaborate with the Dispatch Team and maintain a positive influence.
• Provide excellent customer service and record events with photos when needed.
• Verify title information when required and communicate discrepancies to dispatch.
• Ensure all tow jobs are completed on or before the due date.
• Other duties as assigned per business needs.

Description

Tow truck drivers will be responsible for providing best-in-class towing service for RB Global. Drivers are responsible for the inbound and outbound towing of light duty vehicles - including motorcycles, travel trailers, and various other vehicles that can be fixed to a standard ball hitch - for a diversified customer base. The pickup and delivery of vehicles according to Due Dates for all work assigned through the RB Global Dispatch Team is essential. Drivers will provide status updates to customers and dispatchers, and will perform all communication, paperwork, condition reporting, and imaging required, including title verification, as necessary.

• Perform pre and post trip inspections to ensure towed vehciles are not damaged.
• Safely tow customer vehicles.
• Perform pre and post trip inspections to ensure tow trucks are in good working order and comply with all safety requirements.
• Collaberate with the IAA Dispatch Team and be a positive influence.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Record all pickup and delivery events, and capture all necessary information, including images, on the IAA Tow App.
• Verify title information when title pickup is required with the assigned vehicle, and communicate any discrepencies with the IAA Dispatch Team.
• Ensure all assigned tow jobs are completed on, or before, the due date.
• Other duties as assigned per business needs.
