RB Global Inc. is seeking reliable tow truck drivers to provide best-in-class towing services for a diverse client base in the Town of Cicero, NY area.

Responsibilities include towing light duty vehicles, communicating updates, and ensuring all paperwork and imaging are completed accurately. Employees will work 12-14 hour shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a focus on safety, route planning, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year towing / transport experience.
• Must be attentive and drive with care.
• Must possess route planning and efficiency skills.
• Ability to deal with hazards and obstructions when presented.
• Customer service skills.
• General mechanical knowledge of trucks and automobiles.
• Detail oriented.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Possess a valid Class D Drivers License with a clean driving record
• Willingness to work 12-14hr shifts including weekend and holidays
• Dispatch experience
• outdoors year-round

Responsabilités

• Safely operate company tow trucks and tow light duty vehicles without causing damage to vehicles in tow.
• Perform pre and post trip inspections to ensure towed vehicles are not damaged.
• Safely tow customer vehicles.
• Perform pre and post trip inspections to ensure tow trucks are in good working order and comply with all safety requirements.
• Collaborate with the IAA Dispatch Team and be a positive influence.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Record all pickup and delivery events, and capture all necessary information, including images, on the IAA Tow App.
• Verify title information when title pickup is required with the assigned vehicle, and communicate any discrepancies with the IAA Dispatch Team.
• Ensure all assigned tow jobs are completed on, or before, the due date.
• Other duties as assigned per business needs.

Description

Tow truck drivers will be responsible for providing best-in-class towing service for RB Global. Drivers are responsible for the inbound and outbound towing of light duty vehicles - including motorcycles, travel trailers, and various other vehicles that can be fixed to a standard ball hitch - for a diversified customer base. The pickup and delivery of vehicles according to Due Dates for all work assigned through the RB Global Dispatch Team is essential. Drivers will provide status updates to customers and dispatchers, and will perform all communication, paperwork, condition reporting, and imaging required, including title verification, as necessary.
