Job Summary:

We are seeking a Tow Truck Driver to join our team! As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responding to calls from stranded motorists in the area and providing emergency roadside assistance, accident recovery, and recovering abandoned vehicles. You will also maintain excellent documentation of each call, provide basic invoicing to clients, and accept payments in the field as needed. The ideal candidate has experience with roadside assistance or basic vehicle repair, has driven a tow truck before, and possesses excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Respond to roadside emergencies within a designated area.
  2. Professionally and accurately assist the client by performing minor repairs or recovering the vehicle and bringing it to a designated location.
  3. Maintain the tow truck and all equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
  4. Maintain excellent records of calls responded to.
  5. Write and present invoices to clients in the field and accept payment as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. Must hold the proper license to operate a tow truck in the state.
  2. Have a clean driving record and exhibit safe driving skills.
  3. Experience with basic roadside assistance, such as changing a tire.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills.
