Job summary

Intrepid Travel in New Orleans is seeking a part-time seasonal Tour Leader to inspire travelers by sharing local culture, cuisine, history, and hidden gems. You will lead groups with energy and a passion for sustainable travel, delivering authentic experiences and a high standard of customer service.

The role requires excellent English communication, a love of travel, strong direction and budgeting skills, and a friendly, engaging personality.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication in English and ideally one other local language.
• Strong customer service experience and ability to develop rapport with a broad range of travelers.
• Ability to manage trip budgets and handle sums of money.
• Map reading skills and a good sense of direction.

Our travelers don’t just see the sights; they experience the city like a local.

This is a part-time seasonal role in New Orleans. The hourly wage is $24.50 USD plus gratuities.

To be considered you may also have:

• Excellent communication in English and ideally one other local language (the more the better!)
• Strong customer service experience and experience in developing a rapport with a broad range of traveler's
• Ability to manage trip budget and handle sums of money
• Map reading skills and a good sense of direction

Additional Skills & Attributes:

• A willingness to work flexible hours according to the groups needs
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificates recommended
