Job summary

Touchstone Climbing's Sacramento Pipeworks campus is seeking an Assistant Comp Team Coach. You will work with kids of all abilities, coaching bouldering, top rope and lead climbing, and help create engaging training curricula for Team Touchstone.

About the Role

Sacramento Pipeworks is looking for an Assistant Comp Team Coach with the following qualifications:

• Experienced in bouldering, top rope, and lead climbing.
• Sound understanding of climbing techniques such as footwork, body positioning, movement efficiency, route reading, etc.
• Has the patience and passion for working with kids at a variety of ability levels and learning styles.
• Brings a creative, fun approach to climbing instruction and curriculum; makes learning how to climb enjoyable and engaging.
• Interested in creating high quality training curriculum and programming for Team Touchstone.
• Excited to collaborate with other coaches to facilitate an exceptional team experience for our climbers.

Compensation

Starting Pay is $21.50/hour. Assistant Team Coach individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to; facility location and type, membership volume, experience, and job/position tenure.
