We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Total Rewards Specialist to join our client's Human Resources team in Nashville, TN. This role will support the administration, analysis, and continuous improvement of benefits, wellness, and recognition programs throughout the organization.
The Total Rewards Specialist will partner closely with HR, Finance, managers, and external vendors to ensure compensation practices remain competitive, benefits programs are effectively managed, and employees receive exceptional support and communications regarding their total rewards package.
Key Responsibilities:
Benefits Administration
- Administer employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, and wellness offerings.
- Coordinate annual open enrollment activities and employee communications.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits questions and escalations.
- Partner with benefit carriers and brokers to resolve coverage or billing issues.
- Conduct benefits audits and ensure enrollment accuracy.
Analytics & Reporting
- Generate reports and dashboards related to compensation, benefits utilization, and workforce trends.
- Analyze HR and compensation data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain data integrity within HRIS and benefits platforms.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, and other applicable laws.
- Support audits, reporting requirements, and regulatory filings.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of employee compensation and benefits information.
Employee Experience & Communication
- Develop clear communications related to compensation programs, benefits offerings, and rewards initiatives.
- Assist with employee education programs that improve understanding of total rewards.
- Support recognition and wellness initiatives that enhance employee engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in benefits or total rewards.
- Strong proficiency with Excel and HRIS platforms.
- Knowledge of compensation structures, benefits administration, and compliance regulations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
