Job summary

iCapital seeks an Assistant Vice President, HR Operations for Total Rewards to be the people team's key operational and technology partner across benefits, payroll, retirement, and compensation. Reporting to HR Technology, this hands-on role will optimize systems, data, integrations, and processes to support global programs.

You will translate business needs into practical system designs, configure HR systems, manage vendor work, and drive open enrollment, payroll updates, and data quality.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in payroll operations, benefits operations, HR business analysis or HR technology.
• Experience implementing Benefits, Payroll, Core HR and Reporting modules in enterprise HR platforms.
• Experience with HR data integrations and carrier feeds.
• Open enrollment, payroll changes, rate updates, and vendor implementations.
• Able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong Excel and large data set reconciliation skills.
• Automation or AI-assisted tools experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate Total Rewards requirements into workflows, specs, configurations, reports and integrations.
• Apply benefits and payroll expertise to employee records, deductions, and vendor files.
• Analyze evolving requirements and impact on payroll, reporting and compliance.
• Provide support for annual processes including open enrollment and rate updates.
• Evaluate requests, assess risks, and propose scalable solutions.
• Partner with external resources while owning requirements and configuration.
• Maintain system configuration documentation and data governance.
• Design, test, implement, monitor and troubleshoot HR data feeds and integrations.
• Lead root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions with proper closure.
