Job summary

iCapital Network is seeking an Assistant Vice President, HR Operations for Total Rewards to serve as the People team’s operational and technology partner across benefits, payroll, retirement, and compensation. The role focuses on improving systems, data, integrations, and processes while configuring HR tech and guiding third-party partners.

You will translate business needs into practical HR technology solutions, test configurations, and oversee external resources.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in payroll operations, benefits operations, HR business analysis or HR technology.
• Experience implementing and managing Benefits, Payroll, Core HR, Reporting in enterprise HCM platforms such as Ceridian/Dayforce.
• Experience implementing and supporting HR data integrations and carrier feeds.
• Experience supporting annual/open enrollment processes and related integrations.
• Able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with large datasets for reconciliations and reporting.
• Experience with automation, workflow, or AI-assisted tools to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Translate Total Rewards requirements into operations, specs, and system configurations with clear documentation.
• Support benefits and payroll workflows across records, deductions, reporting, and vendor files.
• Analyze evolving requirements affecting payroll, eligibility, and employee experience.
• Provide dedicated support for open enrollment, plan-year configuration, and vendor implementations.
• Evaluate requests for configuration changes, assess risks, and propose scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with external vendors while owning requirements, design, and testing.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, dependencies, and changes.
• Design and test data feeds and system integrations with internal and external teams.
• Develop understanding of file layouts, mappings, validation, and error handling.
