Job summary

Janicki Industries is seeking a Total Rewards Manager to lead benefits, compensation, and leave administration. This hybrid role in Sedro-Woolley, WA, partners with the VP of HR to maintain salary bands, run market surveys, and manage vendor relationships.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in benefits/compensation, strong regulatory knowledge, and proven leadership. You will oversee audits, open enrollment, and compliance programs while ensuring employee satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field required.
• PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/CEBS or CCP certification preferred.
• 5+ years of benefits and compensation experience, including leave management, required; prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of multi-state leave laws and federal regulations (FMLA, ADA) is required.
• Experience with salary surveys, market pricing, and salary structure design is required.
• Experience with ESOP, 401(k), and benefit plan audits preferred.
• Strong Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and MS Office skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team and personally handle day-to-day benefits, compensation and leave administration.
• Plan, prioritize, and delegate workload; provide coaching and development.
• Develop, maintain and administer salary bands and pay structures; present findings to leadership.
• Own salary survey participation and market analyses for leadership reviews.
• Support merit and market adjustment cycles with data modeling and analysis.
• Conduct leave and pay equity reviews to ensure compliant pay practices.
• Oversee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life and 401(k).
• Coordinate negotiations with benefits vendors and assist in contract renewals.
• Manage ESOP, 401(k) and benefit vendor audits and document requests.
• Lead open enrollment and benefits information sessions for employees.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA) across states.
