Job summary

PacifiCorp is seeking a senior HR leader to shape compensation, benefits, and retirement programs and to guide executive compensation strategy. You will build and develop a high-performing team, ensure regulatory compliance, and align resources to deliver impact across the organization.

The role oversees merit cycles, long-term incentives, and benefit plans, with responsibility for reporting, budgets, and stakeholder partnerships. A strong track record in HR management is essential.

Qualifications

• Ten years of HR management experience.
• At least five years in direct people management.
• Deep knowledge of compensation and benefits programs.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local HR laws.
• Experience shaping compensation and benefits strategy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compensation, employee benefits and disability programs, including health care, life insurance, retirement and incentive plans.
• Oversee executive compensation programs, long-term incentives, and disclosures.
• Ensure compliance with plans, laws, and regulations.
• Manage annual reporting and filing requirements (10-K, 5500s, PBGC).
• Develop bargaining proposals for employee benefits and analyze union demands.
• Participate in union negotiations and present plans to employees and unions.
• Manage relationships with consultants, brokers, trustees and administrators.
• Handle employee inquiries on benefits and compensation.
• Monitor costs and experience of benefit plans; implement improvements.
• Act as trustee on pension and medical trusts.
• Oversee data requests and reporting; manage department budgets.
• Maintain confidential information; coach and develop staff.
• Review performance and conduct annual evaluations.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field
