The role includes participation in general call coverage and operates within a group-employed model at the Joint Replacement Center in AO Fox Hospital.

Qualifications

• MD, DO or MBBS required.
• Completion of residency in orthopedic surgery and board eligible.
• NY Licensure required.
• BLS Certification required.
• Fellowship trained in total joint arthroplasty.
• DEA required.

Responsibilities

• An established group of Orthopedic Surgeons and APCs.
• General Orthopedic Call required 1:9 days with dedicated hospitalist for weekdays; APC first call system.
• Joint Replacement Center located at AO Fox Hospital.
• Referral base of over 150 primary care clinicians.
• Full support staff including APCs with surgical residents and medical students.
• Group employed model.
