Job summary

Bassett Medical Center, part of the Bassett Healthcare Network in upstate New York, seeks a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon to lead the hip and knee replacement program. The role requires participation in general call coverage and operates within a group-employed model at the Joint Replacement Center housed at AO Fox Hospital.

Opportunity to collaborate with a large team of orthopedic surgeons, APCs, residents, and medical students while serving a broad referral base across eight counties.

Qualifications

• MD, DO or MBBS
• Completion of an accredited residency in orthopedic surgery, successful completion of which results in board eligibility
• NYS Licensure
• BLS Certification Required
• Fellowship Trained
• DEA Required

Responsibilities

• Support the focused service line for hip and knee replacement surgery.
• Participation in general call coverage.
• Joint Replacement Center located at AO Fox Hospital.
• Reference base of over 150 Primary Care Clinicians.
• Full support staff including APCs with surgical residents and medical students.
• Group employed model
