Bassett Healthcare Network in upstate New York invites a BC/BE Orthopedic Total Joint Surgeon to join our staff at the Joint Replacement Center in Cooperstown. Fellowship training in total joint arthroplasty is required, with participation in general call coverage and a strong referral base.

Qualifications

• Fellowship training in total joint arthroplasty is required.
• New York Medical License or eligibility to obtain.
• Board Certification in Orthopaedics (BC/BE) is required.
• BLS Certification required and DEA registration.
• Completion of an accredited USA orthopedic fellowship in total joint arthroplasty.

Responsibilities

• Support the focused service line for hip and knee replacement surgery.
• Join an established group of Orthopedic Surgeons and APCs.
• Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network across an 8-county region.
• Be part of a teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.
• Participate in general orthopedic call coverage (1:9 days) with hospitalist support.
