Job summary

MercyOne Genesis is seeking a BC/BE Total Joint / Adult Reconstruction Orthopedic Surgeon to help build a new practice with a ground-up joint replacement program. The role offers a strong team, good OR access, robust APP support, and a path to leadership in a growing system.

You will deliver complex arthroplasty with a collaborative, well-supported environment and opportunities to shape the program's direction for years to come.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible orthopedic surgeon with fellowship in adult reconstruction or total joints.
• Ability to obtain Iowa and Illinois medical licenses.
• Strong clinical and surgical skills with a focus on total joints and revisions.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead/participate in complex primary and revision joint arthroplasty.
• Help design and grow a high-performing adult reconstruction program.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, hospitalists, primary care, and rehab teams.
• Deliver exceptional patient outcomes in a well-supported environment.
