UPMC Altoona is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Total Joint Arthroplasty to join our busy team in Altoona, PA. The practice currently includes multiple orthopedic specialists and advanced practice providers, offering a robust patient flow and strong collaboration with hospital services.

The candidate will participate in in-office imaging and PACS/EMR use, with a focus on high-quality patient care and trauma call coverage (1:6).

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery is required.
• Active PA license or ability to obtain one.
• Experience with in-office imaging and PACS/EMR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Join an established busy joint practice with a wait list.
• Provide orthopedic surgery care focused on total joint arthroplasty.
• Collaborate with a team of surgeons and advanced practice providers.
• Serve as team physician for local Division 1 University.
