UPMC Altoona Elite Orthopaedics is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon with interest and experience in Total Joints to join a fully established high-volume practice.

The practice serves 70+ referring physicians and benefits from an in-house imaging/PACS EMR system, a newly constructed 90,000 sq ft office complex, and a robust hospital network with multiple ORs and trauma coverage. Compensation includes salary plus incentive bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Job description

UPMC Altoona Elite Orthopaedics is recruiting an Orthopedic Surgeon with interest and experience in Total Joints to step into a fully established practice with high volume patient base. The practice cares for patients referred from 70+ primary care physicians and the Hospital's emergency and trauma departments. Must have an MD or equivalent, be American BC/BE in Orthopedic Surgery with the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license.

About the Position:

• Join a full-service practice with 5 orthopedic surgeons, 7 Physician Assistants and a non-surgical sports medicine physician
• Trauma call 1:6
• Practice call 1:5
• In-office imaging and PACS/EMR system
• Newly constructed 90,000 sq ft medical office complex
• Hospital has 12 ORs; Ambulatory Surgery Center had 6 ORs
