Job summary

UPMC Orthopedics is recruiting an Orthopedic Surgeon with interest and experience in General Orthopedics to join a fully established, high-volume practice in Altoona. The team includes five orthopedic surgeons, seven PAs and a non-surgical sports medicine physician, with trauma call 1:6 and practice call 1:5.

In-office imaging and PACS/EMR are used; a newly constructed 90,000 sq ft medical office complex supports growth.

Qualifications

• Must have MD or equivalent and be BC/BE in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license.

Responsibilities

• Join a full-service practice with 5 orthopedic surgeons, 7 PAs and a non-surgical sports medicine physician.
• Share trauma and practice call with the group.
