Olympia Orthopaedic Associates in Olympia, WA is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Total Joint Clinic. This full-time role supports high-volume total hip/knee replacement care, providing preoperative and postoperative nursing care and coordinating patient education and follow-up.

The RN works with surgeons, APPs, and staff to ensure surgical readiness, patient safety, and timely access to services. Licensure, BLS, and orthopedic experience are required.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Washington State Registered Nurse license.
• Current Basic Life Support certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Orthopedic clinical experience.
• Wound assessment and wound care experience.
• Ability to perform clinical triage, coordinate care, and document in an electronic medical record.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive preoperative and postoperative nursing care.
• Educate patients and coordinate care across teams.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeon, APPs, staff, and scheduling to prepare for surgery.
• Coordinate and track medical clearances and follow-up in recovery.
