Job summary

Olympia Orthopaedic Associates is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Total Joint Clinic in Olympia, WA. The RN will support a high-volume total hip and knee replacement practice, providing comprehensive preoperative and postoperative nursing care, patient education, and care coordination.

The RN works with orthopedic surgeons, advanced practice providers, clinical staff, and scheduling to ensure patients are prepared for surgery and receive timely follow-up.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Washington State Registered Nurse license.
• Current Basic Life Support certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Orthopedic clinical experience.
• Wound assessment and wound care experience.
• Demonstrated ability to perform clinical triage, coordinate care, and document accurately in an electronic medical record.

Responsibilities

• Preoperative and postoperative nursing care for Total Joint Clinic patients.
• Educate patients and coordinate care with surgeons, APPs, and staff.
• Ensure surgical readiness and timely follow-up throughout recovery.
