Job summary

Resurgens Surgery Center in Atlanta is seeking a Total Joint Coordinator to oversee the care pathway for total joint patients. The role coordinates across the surgical team, from pre-op through discharge, and collaborates with surgeons, anesthesia, PACU, OR staff, PT, ASC leadership, and office staff to optimize outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Current GA Nursing License.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 3–5 years ASC experience.
• Strong patient education and communication skills.
• Ability to apply sound clinical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the total joint care pathway from pre-op to discharge.
• Serve as liaison among surgeon, anesthesiologist, PACU, OR, PT, ASC leadership.
• Participate in data collection, analysis, and reporting of outcomes.
• Maintain infection control standards and professional competencies.
