Job summary

El Super in Indio, CA, is hiring a Tortilleria Clerk (#63) to join our store operations team. Under direct supervision, you will assist customers, maintain tortilla displays, and help prepare masa and tortillas in a fast-paced grocery setting.

Starting rate is $16.90 per hour. The role requires ability to lift up to 60 pounds, read labels, and follow safety rules; food handler card is required for food-related duties. We are part of the Chedraui USA group and value community-minded employees.

The Opportunity

Under direct supervision, the Tortilleria Clerk provides friendly, courteous and helpful service. This position will assist customers, clean, fill and rotate tortilla displays, as well as assist making a variety of different tortillas and masa for the department.

The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
