Job summary

Lockheed Martin at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, seeks a Supervisory Leader to oversee the maintenance and refurbishment of MK48 torpedoes in a team-based production environment. You will coordinate training, set objectives, assess performance, and mentor personnel to ensure mission readiness and safety.

This role requires proven team leadership, DoD/Navy procedural knowledge, and the ability to implement corrective actions while coordinating with HR and management on succession and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in ordnance operations.
• Experience assembling/disassembling mechanical systems.
• Torpedo assembly/disassembly experience.
• Ordnance handling operation management.
• Computer literacy with MS Office tools.
• Experience with maintenance process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical training, qualifications, and proficiency demonstrations.
• Set performance objectives aligned with team and mission.
• Perform performance assessments and develop development plans.
• Provide mentoring and growth orchestration for team members.
• Implement disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Coordinate with HR to resolve morale and health benefits concerns.
• Collaborate with senior management on succession planning and process improvement.
• Review completed work packages and oversee installation/assembly on MK48 torpedoes.
• Provide on-the-job training and oversee ordnance movements and accountability.
