Job summary

Montana Precision Products seeks a torch brazing technician to manufacture high-precision components per customer specs, including trimming, end forming, grinding, cleaning and torch brazing. You will inspect products at each step and ensure compliance with quality systems and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, setting up machines, inspecting joints, maintaining equipment, and meeting production schedules while training in production areas.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Strong attention to detail with good eye/hand coordination.
• Vision: Jaeger #2 near 12" and 20/30 far.
• U.S. person status required.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Experience with hand tools, saws, sanders and clamps preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints and work instructions.
• Sets up machines to trim, size, form, inspect, and torch braze.
• Assembles, inspects joints and maintains brazed assemblies.
• Maintains equipment and logs preventative maintenance.
• Adheres to schedules and participates in cross-training.
• Ensures quality standards are met.
