Job summary

T1 Energy Inc. is building a domestic solar manufacturing capability in the U.S. We are seeking a seasoned Process Engineer to lead TOPCon unit processes, drive stability, and collaborate across Engineering, Operations, and QA teams.

You will mentor engineers and contribute to technology transfer as we scale a new fab environment. Ideal candidates hold a MS/BS in a relevant field with 6+ years of solar cell process experience and hands-on expertise in PECVD/LPCVD, diffusion, and ALD.

Qualifications

• TOPCon practitioner with hands-on development and manufacturing experience.
• Bachelor's/Master's in a related field.
• Experience with TOPCon unit processes and associated toolsets.
• Mentoring or guiding junior engineers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering for TOPCon unit processes and ensure stability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to peers.
• Drive yield and efficiency improvements using data.
• Establish baselines, control plans, and process documentation.
• Collaborate with Equipment, Metrology, and Quality teams for readiness and compliance.
• Lead root cause analysis for yield excursions and performance deviations.
• Support tech transfer and qualification for new tools and materials.
• Work with R&D and device engineering on future process integration.
• Represent process area in cross-functional reviews.
